Well, our designers have done it again. They took our popular “spending tracker” app called Tripulator and added a beautiful, and useful app called TipIt. TipIt is accessed by flipping Tripulator over to the other side. TipIt can compute a dinning tab split for up to 50 people and at any tip percentage. Whats’ unique about TipIt is you can set the appropriate sales tax so you don’t tip on the tax. Totals are displayed for the Tip Split, Total Tip and Tab Split and Total Tab. We spent a lot of time analyzing how the perfect dining tip calculator might be built and I believe we’ve accomplished our goal.

Tripulator also has a new feature. Now, in Edit mode, you can move categories up or down the list depending on which one you use most. Just tap Edit and move any category by holding down the grid on the right side of the category and slide it up or down. When you have it where you want it, let go and it will set in place. Tap Done.

We will leave the price at 99 cents for awhile, but we are planning on testing it at $1.99 soon. If you were thinking of purchasing Tripulator, the Chief Banana suggests you do so now, and in the process get to beautiful apps for a buck. How can you beat that, that’s right – you can’t!
